Terms of Use and Purchase Conditions – The Red Jackets

1. General Terms

1.1. These terms apply to all purchases made on the website https://theredjackets.lv.

1.2. The main product offered is the book “Treasures of Latvia”.

1.3. By placing an order, the customer agrees to these terms.

2. Payment Procedure

2.1. Purchases can be paid for using the Klix payment solution, which provides one or both of the following payment methods:

• bank transfer (banklink);

• payment by payment card (Visa, Mastercard, etc.).

2.2. All payments are processed securely in cooperation with Klix.

3. Product Delivery

3.1. The product is sent to the address specified by the customer after receipt of payment.

3.2. Delivery time is usually 2-5 business days in Latvia.

3.3. If delivery is delayed, the customer is informed about it by e-mail.

4. Right of withdrawal and return of the product

4.1. In accordance with the Consumer Rights Protection Law and Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 255 “Regulations on distance contracts”, the consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days from the moment of receipt of the product, without giving a reason.

4.2. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must send a written notification to the e-mail liva@theredjackets.lv, indicating the order number and the desire to return the product.

4.3. The product must be returned in its original packaging, unused and undamaged.

4.4. The return costs are borne by the customer, except in cases where a damaged or incorrect product has been delivered.

4.5. The money is returned within 14 days from the moment of returning the product.

5. Data protection

5.1. Customer data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

5.2. Information about payments is provided and processed only through Klix in a secure manner.

6. Other provisions

6.1. The content of the website (including images, texts, design) is the property of the Latvian Exporters Association “The Red Jackets”, and their use without permission is prohibited.

6.2. In the event of a dispute, the party shall try to reach an agreement. If this is not possible, the dispute shall be resolved in the court of the Republic of Latvia.
